• Location Data: With your permission, we collect precise location data to show nearby venues, enable venue detection, and provide location-based reminders. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for push notifications.
• Usage Data: How you interact with the app, including features used and actions taken.

How We Use Your Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Show you nearby venues and personalized recommendations based on your location
• Enable social features like friends, likes, and comments
• Send push notifications about friend activity, achievements, and location-based reminders (with your permission)

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

• With Other Users: Your display name, profile photo, ratings, and comments are visible to other users (including friends and, for public venue ratings, the broader community).
• Service Providers: We work with third-party companies to provide infrastructure and services:
  • Supabase — Authentication and database hosting
  • MapBox — Map display and location services
  • Google Places — Venue information and business data
  • Apple Push Notification Service — Delivering push notifications
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.

Your Rights and Choices

• Access and Update: You can access and update your account information in the Profile section of the app.
• Delete Your Account: You can delete your account at any time through Profile > Settings > Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, ratings, and all associated data.
• Location Permissions: You can enable or disable location access in your device settings. Disabling location will limit certain features like "Near Me" and venue detection.
• Push Notifications: You can manage notification preferences in the app settings or disable them entirely in your device settings.

Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, secure authentication tokens stored in your device's keychain, and access controls for our systems. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

Children's Privacy

EspressoMyTini is intended for users who are of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction (21+ in the United States). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21 years of age. If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone under 21, we will delete that information promptly.

International Users

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. By using the Service, you consent to such transfer. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
